Trackwork
Track maintenance is carried out by RailCorp within the Sydney metropolitan area bounded by Macarthur, Lithgow and Broadmeadow. The Australian Rail Track Corporation maintains the track in areas outside of the Sydney metropolitan area. This section provides information of upcoming trackwork that affects CountryLink services.
Passengers are requested to be at the station at the time stated on their ticket. Trackwork delays mentioned in the notices below are an indication only and may vary from the actual train arrival time. Please listen for station announcements which will be made with the expected arrival time.
9 March - 18 March 2010
South - the 6.58am Sydney to Canberra XPLORER service will be replaced by road coach services between Goulburn and Canberra.
South - the 11.55am Canberra to Sydney XPLORER service will be replaced by road coach services between Canberra and Goulburn, the XPLORER service will commence from Goulburn.
13 March - 14 March 2010
West - the 7.10am Sydney to Dubbo and 2.10pm Dubbo to Sydney XPT services will be replaced by a road coach service for the entire journey.
West - InterCity passengers travelling from Central and Strathfield to locations beyond Lithgow, to join local services 40 minutes earlier from Central to Blacktown. Passengers from Penrith to join buses to Springwood then connecting bus to Lithgow.
Central - Platforms 1 to 4 will be closed, CountryLink services will depart from platforms 5 to 14.

North - the 4.12pm Sydney to Brisbane XPT service will be replaced by a road coach service from Grafton to Brisbane.
North - the 7.30pm Casino to Sydney XPT service will be replaced by a road coach service from Taree to Sydney.

North - the 7.15am Sydney to Casino, 11.35am Sydney to Grafton and 4.12pm Sydney to Brisbane XPT services will be replaced by a road coach service for the entire journey.
North - the 6.30am Brisbane to Sydney, 6.30am Grafton to Sydney and 7.30pm Casino to Sydney XPT services will be replaced by a road coach service for the entire journey.
North West - the 10.05am Sydney to Armidale and 10.05am Sydney to Moree XPLORER services will be replaced by a road coach service between Sydney and Muswellbrook, the XPLORER service will commence from Muswellbrook.
North West - the 8.07am Moree to Sydney and 8.50am Armidale to Sydney XPLORER services will be replaced by a road coach service from Muswellbrook to Sydney.

North - the 7.15am Sydney to Casino and 11.35am Sydney to Grafton XPT services will be replaced by a road coach service for the entire journey.
North - the 4.12pm Sydney to Brisbane XPT service will be replaced by a road coach service between Sydney and Taree, the XPT will commence from Taree.
North - the 7.30pm Casino to Sydney XPT service will be replaced by a road coach service from Casino to Grafton, the XPT will commence from Grafton.
