Trackwork
Track maintenance is carried out by RailCorp within the Sydney metropolitan area bounded by Macarthur, Lithgow and Broadmeadow. The Australian Rail Track Corporation maintains the track in areas outside of the Sydney metropolitan area. This section provides information of upcoming trackwork that affects CountryLink services.

Western Region - Due to operational reasons, the 07:10 Sydney to Dubbo and the 14:10 Dubbo to Sydney XPT services will be replaced by a 3 car XPLORER service.
Southern Region - The 06:58 Sydney to Griffith XPLORER service has been cancelled. Passengers will need to travel on CLK623 the 07:42 Melbourne XPT service to Wagga Wagga then transfer to CLK731 coach service to Griffith.

Western Region - Due to operational reasons, the 07:10 Sydney to Dubbo and the 14:10 Dubbo to Sydney XPT services will be replaced by a 3 car XPLORER service.
Southern Region - CLK642, the 07:25 Griffith to Sydney XPLORER service will be replaced by a road coach service for the entire journey. Due to the Junee Markets Stalls using the railway Square station entrance, the coach replacement will stop to drop and pick up passengers from outside the Crossing Motel at 39 Seignoir Street Griffith.

Western Region - CLK445, the 06:20 Sydney to Broken Hill Explorer service will arrive into Broken Hill at an amended time of 19:30 EST.

North Region - Due to trackwork between Strathfield and Maitland, CLK31 the 16:12 Sydney to Brisbane XPT service will terminate at Casino. At Casino passengers will transfer to a road coach service through to their final destinations. CLK34 the 19:30 Casino to Sydney XPT service will terminate at Taree, where passengers will transfer to a road coach service for the remainder of their journey.

Western Region - Passengers travelling to Lithgow from Central and Strathfield will join a direct coach service to Penrith and transfer to the intercity train service through to Lithgow. Passengers travelling from Parramatta and Blacktown will join a CityRail suburban train to Penrith and transfer to the intercity train service through to Lithgow. Southern Region - Due to an operational requirement, all Melbourne to Sydney XPT services will still be running to scheduled timetable, however, when they reach Benalla they will now depart from Platform 1 instead of Platform 2.
