Trackwork
Track maintenance is carried out by RailCorp within the Sydney metropolitan area bounded by Macarthur, Lithgow and Broadmeadow. The Australian Rail Track Corporation maintains the track in areas outside of the Sydney metropolitan area. This section provides information of upcoming trackwork that affects CountryLink services.

20 July - 9 September 2010
North Western region - the 08:07 Moree to Sydney XPLORER service will depart Moree 22 minutes earlier than timetable at 07:45. The 08:50 Armidale to Sydney XPLORER service will depart 30 minutes earlier than timetable at 08:20.
Altered coach timetables will operate for the North Western region - 30 minutes earlier than normal timetable. Friday 23 July, the Burren Junction to Narrabri coach will depart at 07:20. Monday 26 July, the Wee Waa to Narrabri coach will depart at 08:00. The Inverell to Tamworth coach service will depart at 06:25. The daily coach service between Tenterfield and Armidale will depart Tenterfield at 05:25.
North Western region - the 10:05 Sydney to Armidale and 10:05 Sydney to Moree XPLORER services will experience delays of up to 20 minutes beyond Werris Creek.

Sunday 8 August-until further notice
Southern Region - Due to delays as a result of substantial speed restrictions being applied by both the Australian Rail Track Corporation and the independent regulator in Victoria, CountryLink advises that all services between Albury and Melbourne will be replaced by road coaches commencing from Sunday 8 August 2010 until futher notice. CountryLink apologises for any inconvenience.
11 September - 12 September 2010
Western Region - The 07:10 Sydney to Dubbo XPT service will terminate at Wellington 30 minutes later than the normal timetable at 13:29 and replaced by road coaches between Wellington and Dubbo.
Western Region - The 14:10 Dubbo to Sydney XPT service will be replaced by a road coach service from Dubbo to Wellington. The XPT will commence from Wellington and operate to Sydney, the XPT is expected to arrive into Sydney at 21:19 hrs.
Western Region - CityRail Blue Mountains Line intercity trains will commence from and terminate at Penrith. Passengers from Central will join express coaches to Penrith, passengers from Strathfield will also join express coaches to Penrith. Passengers from Parramatta and Blacktown will join a coach service to Penrith. Intercity trains will experience delays of 30 minutes arriving at Lithgow and 20 minutes arriving Sydney.

Northern Region - All North Coast XPT services will be replaced by road coaches between Sydney - Taree - Sydney. XPT services will commence and terminate at Taree.
North West Region - All North West Xplorer services will be replaced by road coaches between Sydney - Muswellbrook - Sydney. Xplorer services will commence and terminate at Muswellbrook.

West Region - The 7.10am Sydney to Dubbo XPT service will be replaced by road coaches for the entire journey. The 2.10pm Dubbo to Sydney XPT service will be replaced by road coaches for the entire journey.
