About this site
Accessibility
The CountryLink website was redesigned in May 2005 and has been developed to ensure its content is available to the widest possible audience, including users of assistive technology. CountryLink has endeavoured to meet all Priority 1 and 2 and the majority of Priority 3 checkpoints, of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0, the internet standard for accessibility.
The accessibility features available on this site include access keys to get to certain information using your keyboard; skip and back to top links and a logical tab order to navigate using assistive technologies.
Access keys
To use the access keys feature on our website, Windows users can press ALT key + access key. Windows users with Firefox 2.0 are now required to press ALT key + SHIFT key + access key. On Macintosh systems, press CTRL + access key.

Browser compatibility
This site has been tested with a number of browsers, but we do recommend using an up-to-date version of Internet Explorer (6 or above) or Firefox (1.5 or above).
To check the version of your internet browser:
- From the menu bar, select Help.
- From the menu options select About.
Font size
The text on this web site is relative, not fixed, so that you can change the font size to suit you. This is required to meet accessibility guidelines. Because most web sites still use fixed text sizes, you may not have seen this problem before. You can fix this by adjusting your browser's text size back to the default value (or larger if that suits you). Please note that significantly increasing the text size may adversely affect the screen layout.
Depending on your browser, you can increase or decrease the font size by:
Firefox
- From the View menu, select Text Size.
- From the menu, choose the new font size by selecting Increase or Decrease.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or above
- From the View menu select Text Size.
- From the menu choose the new font size (from smallest to largest).
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.2 (Macintosh)
- From the View menu, select Text Zoom
- Choose the new font size (from 50% - 300% or Larger or Smaller).
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0
- From the View menu, select Internet Options.
- Choose Fonts, and change the size to Small or Large.
Netscape 4.0 and 6.0
- From the Edit menu select Preferences.
- In the Preferences dialog select Appearance, then Fonts. Reset the size.
Opera

- Select a size from the list.
